**The Opportunity**  
  
Hitachi Energy is seeking a **Manufacturing Supervisor** for our **Alamo, TN** location! This role is crucial in supervising a team of production employees engaged in various manufacturing activities. You'll schedule work to meet on-time delivery objectives while optimizing resource utilization. **How You'll Make an Impact**  
  

-   Ensure a safe and clean work environment by educating and directing personnel on equipment use and maintaining compliance with policies.
-   Manage and train employees within your work group.
-   Achieve Section KPIs for Safety, On-Time Delivery, Throughput Time, Productivity, and Efficiency.
-   Track and enter hourly employees' time into the timekeeping system.
-   Resolve or assist in resolving production, technical, and logistics problems.
-   Complete production plans by scheduling and assigning personnel, monitoring progress, revising schedules, and reducing backlog.
-   Provide manufacturing information by compiling, sorting, and analyzing production performance records.
-   Resolve personnel issues by analyzing data, investigating issues, and recommending actions.

  
**Your Background**  
  

-   Bachelor's degree and 2+ years of manufacturing experience; OR associate's degree and 4+ years of manufacturing experience; OR High School Diploma/GED and 8+ years of manufacturing experience.
-   Broad experience in an industrial manufacturing environment.
-   Knowledge and experience with lean manufacturing implementation and Six Sigma training.
-   Strong interpersonal skills to achieve cooperation from others.
-   Ability to work effectively with limited supervision.
-   Strong communication skills to work effectively with all levels of the organization.
