How You'll Make an Impact
Responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.
Ensure all activities under your responsibility are addressed in the respective health and safety risk analysis, and required controls are defined to conduct the work safely.
Identify gaps in safety, quality, and production processes and develop actions to close gaps.
Communicate daily production targets and exceptions with the production employees.
Assign team members and adjust workflow based on the size of the work team and customer priorities.
Provide leadership, guidance, and direction for continuous improvement activities.
Engage team members and develop best practices within areas of responsibility.
Support the team members' training.
Your Background
Bachelor's Degree (Preferred)
Associate degree (may consider non-degree candidate with significant years of experience).
Candidate must already have work authorization that would permit them to work for Hitachi Energy in the United States.
Minimum 5 years of experience in a supervisor role.
Experience in lean manufacturing.
Experience in using SAP is a plus.
Experience with metal works, welding, and painting is a plus.
