Providing cost effective quality solutions and delivery within budget and contract. Ensuring adherence to safety standards and mitigation of potential risks. Creating work plans and cost estimates. Reviewing and approving scope, budget, and schedule for assignments. Interact directly with customers, officials, contractors, and supply chain.
How you'll make an impact:
You will evaluate, select, and apply standard techniques and procedures to perform engineering assignments, provide technical support for testing, installation and commissioning activities, prepare project documentation within one's scope of deliverables.
You will assist in preparing proposal/presentation of engineering projects/programs (provision of bills of materials, estimated engineering hours, etc.), assist customers on technical issues, interact with official contacts, contractors, and other staff within his/her scope of deliverables, assist communication pertaining to specific assignments or meetings.
You will support Contract Managers in issuing claims (new/change in scope of work, cost impact, time impact, risk quantifications, etc.), provide quality solutions as per customer requirements and deliver within budget and contract, ensure adherence to safety standards and mitigation of potential risks.
You will evaluate risks and opportunities, strategize mitigation of one's engineering projects/programs, support the Project Manager in overall project risk and opportunity assessments, and implementation of resulting actions, identify opportunities for repeating and new businesses.
You will collaborate with the Supply Chain function to ensure that technical requirements for equipment or services are communicated and agreed on with potential suppliers, provide technical evaluation of supplier proposals and accept as fit for purpose supplied equipment or services.
You will expand one's network of engineering and technology colleagues within Hitachi Energy and externally, gather and share best practice across different projects and disciplines, use standard processes and tools applicable to one's area of responsibility, ensure that engineering activities comply with required safety regulations and contractual requirements, report processes and tools inefficiencies and suggests improvements ideas, coordinate work with other discipline and project engineers, technicians and administrative staff and ensure the project follows and complies with company health, safety, environmental and sustainability policies.
You will be responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.

Your background:
You hold an Engineering degree (Bachelor)with appropriate experience in High Voltage industry.
Minimum 5years experience in High Voltage Utility/Renewables sector or similar related industry.
Registered or eligible for CPENG and RPEQ, skilled in MS Word, Excel.
Proficient in English communication.
