• Leverage employees' skills and competencies and support employees' development
• Drive process and cultural changes in the organization towards increased quality and execution
• Close cooperation with Product Management and R&D Management to build product roadmap and meet customer and market expectations
• Ensure on time delivery of high quality components within specified scope
• Strict process adherence - confirm and later monitor defined quality metrics, especially Software Development Life Cycle practices implementation
• Drive a good collaboration culture in between the local teams in Krakow and other HE R&D locations
Requirements:
• Deep understanding and 4+ years of experience in Software Development or Testing and at least 2 years of experience in leading teams or groups
• Understanding of all aspects of Software Development Life Cycle: Requirements Engineering, Development, Verification and Validation, Configuration Management in Agile environment
• Knowledge of key infrastructure technologies: operating systems, infrastructure security, networking, databases
• Energetic and enthusiastic, passionate and creative thinker, able to translate to pragmatic solutions
• Excellent leadership skills
• Fluent spoken and written English
• Capability to work from office at least 2 days per week (no full remote option available for this position)
