Position summary

  • You prepare and modify the technical documents with project specific requirements.

  • You implement customer requirements precisely within technical solution concepts

  • You conduct system testing, both at the factory and at site by systematically documenting the results especially related to SCADA applications and process communication

  • You support our customers with installed systems by verifying and providing solutions to technical issues reported by our customers.

  • You support the sales department in finding solutions and preparing offers

Your background

  • Successfully completed bachelor's or master's degree in electrical engineering, electrical power engineering or comparable technical understanding of SCADA solutions, database engineering and Network Control products

  • English fluently spoken and written

  • German or French fluently spoken and written is a plus, but not a must

  • Independent and proactive way of working as well as willingness to take responsibility

  • Communication skills combined with high customer orientation

  • Interest in international and cross-cultural cooperation and willingness to travel worldwide

  • General willingness for temporary assignments in our global partner units (e.g. in the context of a time-limited exchange of up to half a year) desired

Your Skills

  • Knowledge of process communication and protocols like IEC104 or ICCP

  • Basic knowledge of any high-level programming language with an experience to use debuggers

  • Ability to fetch, modify and deploy data by writing SQL statements

  • Any in-depth scripting knowledge

  • Knowledge of power applications

  • Structured way of working with eye to detail and good documentation

  • Problem-solving oriented mindset with focus on quality and on-time delivery
