Qualify new suppliers and ensure existing ones stay up to date in meeting Hitachi Energy's qualification requirements (Sustainability, Cyber security and Quality)
Drive product qualifications (PPAP adapted for the energy business) on new and revised products
Manage changes within our supply base, ensuring that Hitachi Energy's high expectations consistently are met
Perform surveillance activities such as audits and revalidation of PPAPs
Manage non-conformities ensuring systemic causes are identified and corrective actions effective
Drive cross-functional performance improvement plans, ensuring efficient end-to-end improvements
Define needs for pre-dispatch inspection and coordinate those with our Supplier Quality Inspectors and contracted third-party inspectors.
Your background
Previous experience from the energy industry
Higher technical education within electrical or mechanical engineering or corresponding experience from previous positions
Significant experience with Quality Management Methods and systems such as DMAIC, 8D, MSA, PPAP, certified ISO lead auditor (preferred but not mandatory)
Great communication skills and ability to raise engagement
Fully fluent in professional English
