Position summary

  • Driving sales volume growth across the pillars of Hitachi Energy Engineering & Service portfolio.

  • Preparing customer & regional market sales plans with the support of marketing and other stakeholder.

  • Contributing to the identification and development of regional market opportunities in collaboration market managers.

  • Monitoring customer and market trends to develop an effective sales & marketing approach in collaboration with the Marketing team.

  • Responsible for the growth of an opportunity pipeline and maintain a target level of forecast accuracy (Using Salesforce)

  • Review the Hitachi Energy Install base, analyze and propose a path forward to capitalize on asset intelligence.

  • Gather and maintain market analysis on Hitachi Energy & competitor position in the local market; leveraging this information to help support decision making.

Your background

  • Engineering/Bachelor Degree/Technologist Diploma or proven outside sales experience

  • More than 3 years of experience in Sales.

  • Knowledge or understanding of Electrical Substation, Transmission, Distribution, Generation and the local market, an asset.

  • Knowledge of Transformers, Breaker, Protection & Control and Substation equipment an asset .

  • Proven ability to sell "Service" a strong attribute

  • Ability to influence and challenge business stakeholders (Internal and external) to drive business growth.

  • Demonstrate the ability to present and sell new technology solutions as a means of differentiating value. Bringing digital information solutions to the electrical market.

  • Proven ability to develop and manage customer relationships.

  • A collaborative, solutions-oriented approach and strong communication skills.
