  • Build strong, long-term customer relationships by understanding needs and aligning solutions with short- and long-term objectives.

  • Drive sales volume across the full Engineering & Service portfolio.

  • Prepare customer and regional sales plans in partnership with marketing and internal stakeholders.

  • Identify and develop regional market opportunities in collaboration with market managers.

  • Monitor customer and market trends to shape effective sales and marketing approaches.

  • Grow and manage the opportunity pipeline and maintain accurate forecasting using Salesforce.

  • Review installed base information, analyze opportunities, and propose paths that leverage asset intelligence.

  • Maintain market insights on competitive positioning to support commercial decision-making.

  • Demonstrate core values of safety and integrity while supporting colleagues and business goals.

  • Responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.

Your Background

  • Candidate must already have work authorization that would permit them to work for Hitachi Energy in Canada.

  • Engineering degree, bachelor's degree, technologist diploma, or proven outside sales experience.

  • More than 3 years of experience in sales.

  • Knowledge or understanding of electrical substations, transmission, distribution, and generation is an asset.

  • Knowledge of transformers, breakers, protection & control, and substation equipment is an asset.

  • Proven ability to sell service offerings.

  • Ability to influence and challenge internal and external stakeholders to drive business growth.

  • Ability to present and promote new technology solutions, including digital information tools.

  • Strong relationship-building skills and a collaborative, solutions-oriented approach.

  • Strong communication skills.
