Position summary

  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for the service team, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.

  • Act as an escalation point for complex customer issues, providing technical guidance and problem-solving expertise.

  • Conduct regular performance reviews, set clear objectives, and support professional development for team members.

  • Ensure adherence to Hitachi Energy's service standards, safety protocols, and quality assurance procedures.

  • Collaborate with other departments (e.g., sales, engineering) to optimize service delivery and enhance customer experience.

  • Prepare and present service reports to management, highlighting team achievements and operational challenges.

  • Manage service-related documentation, ensuring accuracy and compliance.

  • Participate in the recruitment and onboarding of new service team members.

  • Coordinate the Stand-by Service.

Your background

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Technology, or a related field; or equivalent practical experience.

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a technical service role, with at least 2 years in a leadership or supervisory position.

  • Fluency in Dutch is required; English proficiency is a strong advantage.

  • Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop a technical service team.

  • Strong technical aptitude and problem-solving skills, ideally with experience in electromechanical systems, IT solutions, or industrial machinery.

  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively under pressure.

  • Proficiency in service management software and tools.

  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel as required.

  • Strong understanding of health and safety regulations relevant to service operations.
