You will negotiate pricing and commercial terms for direct materials.
You will support in reviewing and concluding procurement contracts and agreements.
You will issue Requests for Quotation (RFQs) and obtain competitive bids.
You will analyze quotations in terms of cost, delivery, and technical compliance.
You will coordinate with internal stakeholders to finalize supplier selection and issue Purchase Orders (POs).
You will support procurement for both tender and execution phase projects.
You will assist in managing lead times, delivery milestones, and project cost control.
You will coordinate and confirm delivery schedules with suppliers.
You will follow up on production status and ensure on-time shipment.
You will collaborate with SCM, Engineering, Quality, and Project management team.
You will Respond to procurement-related requests from internal departments.
You will arrange transportation, customs clearance, and delivery schedule.
You will handle irregular logistics issues in cooperation with suppliers and logistics partners.
You will be responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.

Your background
Strong knowledge of supply chain management, including commercial terms and procurement contracts.
Over 5 years of hands-on procurement experience, specifically in direct materials within the manufacturing, energy, or infrastructure sectors.
Experienced in RFQ processes, quotation analysis, and purchase order (PO) issuance.
Proven ability to negotiate effectively with suppliers to secure optimal terms.
Basic familiarity with electrical substation products is preferred, especially in a direct materials procurement context.
Solid understanding of Japanese business customs and communication protocols.
Capable of business-level communication in both Japanese and English (TOEIC score of 650 or above is preferred).
