Position summary

be maintained and managed logistics master data with minimal supervision.

  • You will initiate improvement plans focused on cost, efficiency, and carbon footprint reduction.

  • You will develop monthly transportation schedules aligned with project milestones and customer requirements.

  • You will utilize TMS and route optimization tools to determine optimal transportation modes and routes.

  • You will coordinate closely with warehouses and project stakeholders for on-time deliveries.

  • You will manage performance of 3PLs, freight forwarders, and transportation vendors.

  • you will negotiate contracts and monitored fleet utilization and driver scheduling.

  • You will promote low-carbon logistics solutions and implemented KPI-based evaluations.

  • You will oversaw day-to-day shipment status across multiple transport modes (air, sea, truck, rail).

  • You will communicate real-time updates to internal teams and external partners.

  • You will adjust transport plans in response to unforeseen delays or risks.

  • You will collaborate with freight forwarders and customs brokers to ensure compliance with international trade regulations.

  • You will be prepared customs documentation, import/export licenses, and permits.

  • You will leverage FTAs and optimized Incoterms for duty savings and lead-time reduction.

  • You will implement logistics cost reduction strategies in line with project budgets.

  • You will visualize CO₂ emissions and proposed action plans for green logistics.

  • You will monitor and reported KPIs related to cost, timeliness, and environmental impact.

  • You will be responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.

Your background

  • Bachelor's degree in Logistics, International Trade, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

  • 5+ years in logistics and transportation, including project-based heavy cargo handling.

  • 3+ years of hands-on experience in supply chain or logistics operations.

  • 2+ years of practical experience in customs and trade compliance (including FTA usage).

  • Strong negotiation and coordination capabilities with logistics partners and customs agents.

  • Knowledge in project management and logistics cost control.

  • Proficiency in TMS, WMS, and ERP systems (e.g., SAP).

  • Skilled in Excel (pivot tables, formulas), PowerPoint, and report creation.

  • Familiar with green logistics and sustainability initiatives.

  • Japanese: Business level (negotiation, documentation, and internal/external communication).

  • English: Reading/writing and professional email communication (TOEIC 650+ equivalent).
