Collaborate with brokers, surety providers, and internal stakeholders to optimize insurance pricing and coverage while supporting the use of a captive insurer. Evaluate insurance needs for new pursuits and ensure timely delivery of policies, certificates, and required documentation.
Support corporate risk reduction strategies by identifying exposures, recommending insurance and contractual risk-transfer solutions, and reviewing legal agreements and loan provisions. Oversee liability and workers' compensation claims from intake through closure, ensuring timely reporting and collaboration with legal, brokers, and adjusters.
Coordinate closely with internal departments to gather data for renewals, budgets, and reporting while leading initiatives to improve safety, loss prevention, and regulatory compliance. Build strong partnerships with stakeholders and contribute to the development of corporate risk management policies, training programs, and strategic presentations.

Skills & Experience
Bachelor's degree in Insurance, Risk Management, Finance, or a related field; Master's degree preferred
Minimum 7+ years experience in corporate risk management, insurance, or related field, preferably in real estate or construction industry
ARM or CRIS professional designation preferred, but not required.
Strong understanding of risk management principles & practices.
Experience with commercial construction risk transfer including marketing, placement, management, and close-out of wrap-up programs preferred, but not required.
Experience or technical expertise in multi-line insurance policies and claims, including related loss processing & claims management.
Familiarity with, and eagerness to explore and integrate, emerging technologies (e.g. AI and blockchain etc.) to drive innovation and continuous learning.
