using EDR and SIEM tools to detect and respond to security incidents. Maintain and evolve the Incident Response Plan and playbooks, coordinate with MDR partners for investigations, minimize impact, and ensure IT leadership is promptly informed.
Conduct regular security audits, vulnerability scans, and penetration tests to identify and address system weaknesses. Provide actionable recommendations, support implementation of NIST-based controls, and contribute to long-term security strategy and architecture planning.
Manage security tools, infrastructure, and configurations, including firewalls, encryption, and secure communications. Collaborate across IT and development teams to promote secure coding practices, deliver user awareness training, and foster a strong cybersecurity culture.

Skills & Experience
Either a Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field or 3-5 years of hands-on experience working in a dedicated IT Security or Cybersecurity role.
CISSP, CEH, ECIH, CySA+, Security+, SecurityX, CISM or GCIH certifications strongly preferred.
Ability to create, modify, and maintain business reporting.
In-depth knowledge of cybersecurity principles, technologies, and best practices.
Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and compliance standards.
Familiarity with, and eagerness to explore and integrate, emerging technologies (e.g. AI and blockchain etc.) to drive innovation and continuous learning.
