related amortization, expense accruals including oversight of company-wide accrual reports, and other corporate functions as needed. Own these monthly processes by collaborating with various internal teams, department leads, and external consultants to ensure understanding of transactions and gather relevant data. Review account reconciliations for areas of responsibility as well as oversight of company-wide intercompany balance sheet account transactions to ensure proper eliminations. Oversight and approval of purchase order and invoice control processing for corporate segment.
Financial Reporting & Compliance
Prepare Corporate segment income statement and balance sheet analytics, statement of stockholders' equity, and segment statement of cash flows for internal and external reporting. Oversight and preparation of related party SOX controls analysis including coordination with Legal and IT departments as well as audit deliverables and support.
Cross-Functional Support & Special Projects
Collaborate with subject matter experts to solve problem problems, implement process improvements, and gain efficiencies which includes working closely with Accounts Payable, IT, Risk Management, and various other corporate departments. Participate in cross-training and assist with ad hoc reporting and special projects as needed.
Supervision of Staff
Train, develop and supervise staff in all aspects of general ledger accounting, analysis, and reporting. Assess and evaluate the performance of staff as well as providing applicable support.
About You
Bachelor's degree in accounting; CPA preferred.
7+ years of progressive accounting experience including public accounting or corporate accounting.
3+ years of supervisory experience.
Experience with JD Edwards, Hubble, Blackline, Coupa, and Navan a plus.
Proven ability to use business and financial acumen and translate into business solutions.
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook.
Familiarity with, and eagerness to explore and integrate, emerging technologies (e.g. AI and blockchain etc.) to drive innovation and continuous learning.
