    Position summary

    r of Howard Hughes' Houston Region team and will be responsible for the planning, promotion, execution and evaluation of community events for our region. This position will also assist with events hosted for our broker and commercial partners and also assist in a variety of marketing projects to help drive sales and leasing in our communities.

    ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Lead the planning, execution, and recap of all community events in The Woodlands, Bridgeland and The Woodlands Hills.

    • Assist with all broker and commercial events for our region.

    • Approach all events with a strategic lens to elevate the experience and identify goals and metrics for success for each event.

    • Generate the budget for all events, monitor spend, and ensure our events stay under budget.

    • Coordinate event contracts and vendor POs for event related expenses.

    • Oversee all advertising and marketing to promote the events. Incorporate brand standards across all platforms to ensure continuity.

    • Assist PR team for event related press releases, media interviews and media appearances.

    • Coordinate with Digital Media Manager to ensure the right content and images will be used to execute a robust digital campaign to support events.

    • Manage event sponsorship sales and meet or exceed the budget goals for sponsored events. Additionally, define and achieve new sponsorship opportunities to drive revenue for Howard Hughes.

    • Conduct a thorough event recap at the completion of each event to measure success and identify areas of improvement.

    • Other duties as assigned.

    DESIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

    • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or related field is required.

    • Strong ability to plan and manage large-scale events is required.

    • Strong written and verbal communication skills, interpersonal skills, and the ability to manage duties effectively in a fast-paced environment is required.

    • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to successfully manage multiple tasks simultaneously is required.

    • Must work well in a team environment but also be able to work independently, with the ability to efficiently manage priorities and deadlines.

    • Proficient in basic office computer programs (MS Office, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and experience in more advanced programs is a plus (Adobe Creative Suite).

    • Ability to work with multiple management teams across our various business units.
