What You Will Do
Ensure projects are delivered on time and within approved budget.
Coordinate and monitor all in-field construction related activities to ensure compliance with plans and specifications, building codes, and quality expectations.
Must possess a comprehensive understanding of latest construction industry related principles, practices, building systems, and technology standards pertinent to condominium and luxury multifamily product-types.
Monitor all aspects of project buyout and procurement including negotiating contracts and vendor agreements.
Monitor and mitigate project risks associated with cost overruns, schedule delays, etc.
Attend owner, architect, and contractor meetings and represent the owner.
Must possess the ability to work and communicate effectively with the consultants and contractor team. Produce and present project status reports to Executive Leadership.
Perform proficient review and evaluation of contractor payment applications and change orders for both validity and accuracy.
Conduct on-site project inspections and liaison with project consultants, vendors, and construction lending representatives.
Ensure completion of deficiency logs, punch lists, and any condominium clientele selections on offered unit upgrades-substitutions.
Manage all project close out deliverables.
About You
Minimum 4-year bachelor's degree
10+ Years of Construction Management experience in commercial construction.
Experience in managing luxury multifamily projects required and experience managing condominium projects preferred.
Strong knowledge of construction principles and practices.
Ability to read and interpret construction documents and specifications.
Strong work ethic with attention to detail and be able to solve issues as they arise.
Ability to work under time constraints and deadlines with minimal supervision.
Working knowledge of critical path construction scheduling.
Curiosity about artificial intelligence and emerging technologies, with a strong desire to continuously learn and apply new tools to work more efficiently.
