t, RTL coding, synthesis, simulation, verification, and validation of Read Out Integrated Circuits (ROIC) and their building blocks with various sub-micron technologies. A successful candidate are self-starters, can work autonomously, and as part of a cross functional team in a project based environment. General duties will include performing all aspects of the development process from ideation through design verification testing. Technical duties require candidate to present details of work to colleagues, stakeholders, and customers, create and manage and execute to plan, and document technical aspects of their work.
Required Skills:
At least 8 years of experience with strong background in electrical engineering and integrated circuit design. Experience with digital design flow, Verilog RTL coding, RTL Synthesis, static timing analysis, timing closure with multiple clock domains, and digital verification are required. Experience with Imaging sensor control, radiation harden by design, clock gating, 8b/10b encoding, and Place&Route are desired. Strong EDA tools experience such as Cadence, Synopsis, and Innovus are also desired. Hands on lab validation skills are helpful. Basic understanding of imaging sensors, memories, or similar array chip architectures. Good understanding of scripting, or programming languages. Familiarity with theory and operation of pipelining and data processing, and safety and redundancy systems. Knowledge of fundamental electrical engineering, and coding principles. Use of Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, Powerpoint) and proficiency in writing for reporting.
Physical Requirements:
Proficiency in use of computers, engineering work stations, complex electronic equipment, oral and written communication, interaction with vendors/colleagues and willingness to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. Ability to work well in a team and independently. Must be sufficiently mobile to work within confined spaces and have both visual and hearing acuity.
Required Education:
Bachelor's Degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, or related scientific discipline
Special Requirements:
U.S. citizenship is required. Ability to obtain/maintain security clearances (post-start) is a plus.
Compensation:
The base salary range for this full-time position is $145,745 - $186,688 + bonus + benefits.
