Electrical Prototyping Engineer

mixed signal electrical systems (impedance matching, transmission lines, bandwidth and loss, etc.)
General knowledge of applied material properties (thermal and electrical conductivity, thermal expansion, etc.)
Experience with all parts of the design, procure, build, hands-on test and debug, and redesign stages of complex electronic systems or components
Willingness to engage with coworkers and colleagues with different expertise to understand applications, use cases and overall solution space
Ability and desire to work in a collaborative, team-based environment that combines engineering, computer science, and physics.
Above all, the position requires good scientific communication skills, a strong work ethic, enjoyment of problem solving, and an ability to span different fields of study.

Required Education:
BA/BS + 5 years or Master's degree + 3 years in electrical engineering, engineering physics or related field, or equivalent knowledge gained through industry experience. Candidates with different experience levels may be considered for other positions.

Physical Requirements:
Must be able to climb ladders to use elevated test equipment. Must be able to work safely in a laboratory environment, and be on-site at least 4 days a week.

Special Requirements:
U.S. Citizenship.
Must have or be willing to apply for and maintain security clearance.

Compensation:
The base salary range for this full-time position is $120,715 - $150,895 + bonus + benefits.
