    Experience Level: 5 to 10 years** About the Role: The requirement is for an Azure Kaizen Engineer to join the platform engineering team for Infosys Australia. This role is dedicated to building and maintaining internal developer platforms that enhance productivity, scalability, and operational efficiency. The talent will play a key role in enabling developers to deploy and manage applications seamlessly through self-service infrastructure and automation. Key Responsibilities:

    • Design and Develop Internal Developer Platforms: Architect scalable, secure, and user-friendly platforms that streamline the developer experience.
    • Automate Infrastructure Provisioning: Use Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform to automate and standardize infrastructure deployment.
    • Manage and Optimize CI/CD Pipelines: Build, maintain, and enhance CI/CD workflows using Azure DevOps to ensure fast, reliable, and secure software delivery.
    • Develop Reusable Tools and Services: Create and maintain libraries, templates, and automation scripts that can be leveraged across teams.
    • Implement Self-Service Capabilities: Enable development teams to provision and manage their own infrastructure and services through intuitive self-service portals.
    • Securing Applications by reviewing and reporting on Security gaps from tools like New Relic, Checkmarks, Postman etc. and take them to closure
    • Monitor Platform Health and Usage: Set up observability tools to track logs, metrics, and traces, ensuring high availability and performance.
    • Define and Promote Best Practices: Establish golden paths, coding standards, and operational guidelines to drive consistency and quality.
    • Collaborate Across Teams: Work closely with developers, QA, security, and operations teams to understand needs and deliver effective solutions.
    • Drive Continuous Improvement (Kaizen): Identify bottlenecks, gather feedback, and implement improvements to enhance developer productivity and platform efficiency.
    • Cost Optimization by reducing operational costs on Azure cloud
    • Support Incident Response and Root Cause Analysis: Participate in on-call rotations, troubleshoot platform issues, and contribute to post-mortems.
    • Document Systems and Processes: Maintain clear and comprehensive documentation for platform components, tools, and workflows.
    • Champion a DevOps Culture: Advocate for automation, collaboration, and continuous delivery across the organization.

    • IaC: Terraform
    • Containerization & Orchestration: Kubernetes
    • CI/CD: Azure DevOps
    • Development: C#, SQL Server
    • Monitoring & Observability: Azure Monitor, Application Insights, CheckMarx, New Relic

    Key Expectations:

    • Background in Cloud Engineering and Software Development.
    • Strong understanding of developer experience and platform automation.
    • Experience with self-service infrastructure and CI/CD automation.
    • Familiarity with security best practices and compliance frameworks.
    • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
