    Position summary

    • Oversee Kubernetes cluster lifecycle management including upgrades, scaling, and security.
    • Drive onboarding of applications and teams to container platforms following standardized processes.
    • Ensure adherence to GitOps principles using tools like Flux.
    • Guide implementation of storage solutions such as Portworx.
    • Collaborate with security teams to integrate security controls into Kubernetes environments.
    • Define and monitor SLAs, SLOs, and error budgets.
    • Provide technical leadership in observability practices using Grafana, Prometheus, etc.
    • Mentor team members and conduct regular performance reviews.
    • Coordinate with stakeholders for incident response and postmortem.
    • Hands-on experience with AWS, Azure, and integrating security solutions into container platforms is good to have.
    • Working Knowledge of:
    • Kubernetes Administration/Architecture
    • Ingress configuration
    • NGINX Ingress Controller
    • GitOps workflows, Flux, and Portworx
    • Python and Automation Scripting
    • Certificate Management Tools
    • Work in PST time zone is required

    • Excellent Communications and client interaction skills along with exceptional written and verbal skills as well as technical documentation
    • Extraordinary Planning, Project Management, Coordination, and Analytical skills
    • Hands-on experience in working in Global Delivery Model with onsite/offshore resources
    • Exceptional Organizational Skills
    • Ability to manage and prioritize tasks efficiently
    • Readiness to demonstrate a proactive attitude
    • Solid attention to detail and excellent written and verbal communication skills are required
    • Ability to work in team in diverse/ multiple stakeholder environment

    The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email, or face to face. Travel may be required as per the job requirements.
