Preferred Qualifications:
• DevOps Professional with 7 + years of experience in the IT industry as a Linux/Cloud/DevOps Engineer with broad skills in System administration, Code migration, Configuration management, Infrastructure automation, Build/Release management, Voicemail operation support and Cloud management.
• Minimum 5 + years of experience with configuration management and automation tools like Ansible and Terraform
• Expertise with Ansible automation execution environment such as Ansible Tower and AWX.
• Minimum 5 + years of experience with python scripting
• Minimum 5 + years of experience with cloud platforms including AWS and Openstack
• Minimum 5 + years of experience in using and maintaining CI/CD tools such as Concourse
• Minimum 5 + years of experience in container methodologies & orchestration: Docker, Kubernetes
• Minimum 5 + years of experience in Monitoring tools such as Nagios, Op5
• Minimum 5 + years of experience in Metrics/Logging- Prometheus, Splunk, ELK
Good to have
• Experience with Voice including SIP protocol
• Experience with FreeSWITCH and/or related VoIP open source like Asterisk, OpenSIPs/Kamailio
• Support Comcast's customer facing Voicemail infrastcuture in production environment
• Resolve break/fix scenarios and engage with broader teams and partner vendors as necessary
• Participate in all aspects of troubleshooting of production environment; Contribute in activities focused on restoration of complex outages
• Participate on 24/7 on-call rotation as needed
• Lead the resolution of issues in a timely and organized manner, effectively communicating necessary information
• Lead end-to-end audit of monitors and alarms based on subsystem knowledge
• Provide in-depth knowledge of Operating System internals to aid in troubleshooting complex problems
