    Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Bellevue, WA or Richardson, TX be willing to relocate to the area. This position may require relocation and / or travel to project locations.

    Required Qualifications
    • Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
    • At least 7 years of Information Technology experience.
    • Experience in AWS cloud and DevOps engineering.
    • Strong expertise in AWS services such as EC2, S3, IAM, Lambda, RDS, VPC, CloudFront, and API Gateway.
    • Advanced experience with Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, or Pulumi for infrastructure automation.
    • Expert knowledge of CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, or AWS CodePipeline.

    Preferred Qualifications
    • Proficiency in scripting and automation using Python, Bash, or Go.
    • Hands-on experience with Kubernetes (EKS), Helm, and container security best practices.
    • Deep understanding of cloud security, identity management, and compliance frameworks.
    • Strong experience in monitoring, logging, and observability with tools like Prometheus, ELK, and Datadog.
    • Ability to lead architecture discussions, create technical documentation, and drive DevOps strategy.
    • Architect and implement scalable, secure, and cost-optimized AWS cloud infrastructure.
    • Define and enforce best practices for DevOps, CI/CD, and cloud automation.
    • Design and Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions using Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, or AWS CDK.
    • Develop and optimize CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, Jenkins, or AWS Code Pipeline.
    • Lead containerization and orchestration strategies with Docker, Kubernetes (EKS), and serverless architectures.
    • Implement security best practices, IAM policies, compliance frameworks.
    • Design monitoring and observability solutions using AWS CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, or Datadog.
    • Establish cloud governance, cost optimization strategies, and FinOps best practices.
    • Collaborate with development, security, and operations teams to drive cloud transformation.
    • Mentor and guide DevOps engineers, fostering a culture of automation and continuous improvement
    • Solid understanding of architectural patterns, design patterns and hands-on knowledge in applying these concepts to practical problems
    • Certified in AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Professional or AWS Certified DevOps Engineer - Professional.
    • Architect and implement scalable, secure, and cost-optimized AWS cloud infrastructure.
    • Experience with GitOps tools like ArgoCD or FluxCD.
    • Knowledge of hybrid cloud and multi-cloud strategies (AWS, Azure, GCP).
    • Experience with event-driven architectures and serverless frameworks.
    • Very strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to articulate architectural details to stakeholders at different levels (executive, technical and non-technical) through UML diagrams, crisp documentation and white-boarding as required.
    • Good understanding of the challenges presented by the architecture including inter-service communication, service discovery, distributed log collection, monitoring, and independent scaling of services, etc.
    • Ability to work in team in diverse/ multiple stakeholder environment
    • Experience and desire to work in a Global delivery environment
