Devops Engineer (Observability & Distributed Systems)

• Support the design, development, and deployment of multi-tiered enterprise applications using Java, Spring, Hibernate, JDBC, JNDI, IBM MQ Series, and Web Services (SOAP/REST).

• Perform production support, including incident handling, bug fixing, and root cause analysis in a cross-functional environment.

• Work across multiple operating systems including Unix, Linux, Ubuntu, and Windows.

• Interact with relational databases such as Oracle and MySQL.

• (Optional) Apply knowledge of Mobile SDK languages for mobile-related integrations.

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years of commercial experience on similar job position
• Proven experience with Splunk, Prometheus, and Grafana.
• Strong scripting skills in Python and/or Bash.
• Experience with Kafka, Cassandra, and distributed systems.
• Solid understanding of Agile methodologies and DevOps practices.
• Proficiency in Java/J2EE technologies and enterprise application development.
• Familiarity with Oracle and MySQL databases.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills in production environments.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) is a plus.

• Exposure to mobile SDKs is an advantage.
