Expert QA Engineer - Mobile Frontend (iOS/Android)

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, create and maintain test scenarios/test cases
• Execute manual and automated test activities - Non-functional & functional, integration, regression, performance, and other tests as needed
• Lead and execute end-to-end mobile frontend functional testing (native/hybrid apps).
• Develop and maintain mobile test automation frameworks (Appium, Detox, etc.).
• Perform accessibility testing to ensure compliance with platform guidelines
• Integrate tests with CI/CD pipelines and cloud device farms
• Collaborate closely with developers, designers, and product managers to understand requirements and raise quality early.
• Participate in agile ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes.
• Document detailed test plans, test cases, and quality metrics.
• Provide test reports on a regular basis, as required, to QA Team Lead & Customers

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in QA with a strong focus on mobile applications.

• Expert in mobile test automation tools (Appium, XCUITest, Espresso).

• Hands-on experience with performance and accessibility testing for mobile apps.

• Familiarity with REST API testing and tools like Postman, Charles Proxy.

• Experience with cloud device farms and integrating with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, etc.).

• Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to drive collaboration across teams.

• Nice to have: Exposure to BDD frameworks, mobile security testing, and monitoring tools.
