• Good understanding of the Oracle database architecture (Single Instance, RAC and ASM), related utilities and tools on Oracle 12c or later.
• Defining database standards and procedures to cover the instance parameters, object sizing, storage. The procedures define the process for install/upgrade, corporate database requirements, security, backup/recovery and automate the same.
• Experience in Security features like TDE, oracle redaction.
• A good understanding of the underlying operating system (Windows) and knowledge of network and storage.
• A good knowledge of the physical database design and Partition Tables.
• Ability to perform both Oracle and operating system performance tuning and monitoring.
• Knowledge of ALL Oracle backup and recovery scenarios.
• A DBA should have sound communication skills with management, development teams and systems administrators.
• Good knowledge and hands on experience of Oracle high availability solutions like RAC and Data guard.
• A good knowledge and hands on experience of Oracle Enterprise Manager 12c.
• Use tools for database tuning. Generate traces, execution plans, identify performance issues, deadlocks/contention and resolve them.
• Coordinating upgrades of system software products to resolve any Oracle/operating system issues/conflicts.
• Provide off hours support and maintenance as required, part of the 24x7 operations support on call rotations.
• Experience in applying PSU patch on RAC setup.

Required:

• Database management including backups, recovery and maintenance
• Database management for export, import and mass data loads
• Analyzes and generation of all tables and index statistics
• Monitoring and resolving data lock issues
• Check all statistics related to memory, locks, I/O, database response time, wait events, top sessions and background processes
• On-Line Transaction Processing (OLTP) to capture, validate and store large amounts of transactions
• Create indexes to achieve critical dataset response time for time sensitive reports.
• French language is mandatory

Preferred:

• Certifications like OCA, OCP, Oracle Database Cloud Administrator 2021 etc.

• Knowledge of Unix operating system

• Python, Ansible, Shell scripting Knowledge for Automation.
