Required Qualifications:

• • Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education
  • At least 11 years of experience with Information Technology.

  • Proven years of software development experience with a focus on JavaScript, Groovy and 3+ years of experience specifically as a Pricefx Principal Consultant.
  • Certified Pricefx configuration engineers with a minimum of 3 years of active experience in this role and proven track record of solution architect role by implementing minimum 2 Pricefx capabilities
  • Proven experience designing and delivering complex enterprise applications in large-scale environments.
  • Strong experience in microservices architecture, RESTful API design, pricing strategies and analytics.
  • Strong understanding of enterprise architecture frameworks
  • In-depth knowledge of Pricefx Platform including Price Builder, Deal Manager, Rebate Manager, Quote configurator, Channel Manager
  • Strong understanding of Pricefx Configuration Studio (CS) and Pricefx promotion engine
  • Strong proficiency in JavaScript for UI extensions and dynamic page behavior
  • Expertise in Groovy scripting within Pricefx for logic implementation and customization
  • Pricefx configuration certification and Solution Architect certification
  • Strong knowledge of Security best practices.

Preferred Qualifications:

• • Proficiency in data integration techniques (APIs. ETL tools) and understanding of REST/SOAP
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Proven leadership experience, with a track record of leading architecture initiatives and mentoring engineering teams.
  • Problem-solving mindset with the ability to innovate and propose creative solutions.
  • Other relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, TOGAF) are a plus.

Key responsibilities but are not limited to:

• Architect and Design Solutions: Develop and design end to end Pricefx solutions aligned with client business goals. Translate the business requirements into functional and technical Pricefx configurations / architectural strategies. Define the system architecture and integration patterns for seamless operations. Ensure that the architecture aligns with the organization's goals, leveraging the benefits of Pricefx Platform while adhering to best practices.

• Technical Leadership: Provide guidance and mentorship to development teams on various pricing strategies and configurations to achieve efficient technical solutions.

• Platform configuration and Implementation: Lead the end-to-end design, configuration and implementation of Pricefx modules includingPrice Builder, Quote configurator and Rebate Manager. Collaborate with developers to implement the custom logic and extensions for these modules as necessary. Translate the complex pricing strategies and business requirements into scalable and efficient Pricefx solutions. Develop and maintain configuration scripts using Groovy and Pricefx Expression Language (PEL) for custom logic and integrations.

• Integration Management: Architect and design integration between Pricefx and other Enterprise systems. Utilize SOAP/RESTful services, Pricefx API and middleware platforms to ensure proper integration with CRM, CPQ and other Enterprise systems. Ensure robust data flow, transformation and synchronization between the platforms.

• Performance Optimization & Security: Optimize performance across the Pricefx modules by analyzing and improving calculation logics, data models and dashboards and analytics. Collaborate and implement robust security controls including data protection, user access policies etc. Utilize best practices in pricing models, user interface setup etc. to ensure high performance and user adoption.

• Collaboration: Work closely with Business stakeholders to gather and analyze functional requirements. Conduct design sessions and ensuring technical solutions are being developed are aligned to architectural strategies. Provide expert guidance during key project phases including scoping, design, implementation and go-live to achieve project goals.

• Stakeholder Communication: Engage with stakeholders to gather feedback and ensure alignment on architectural decisions and project goals.

• Technology Evaluation: Stay up to date with Pricefx platform updates and enhancements. Recommend improvements to existing Pricing processes and tools for better performance and scalability.

• Code Reviews: Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and adherence to architectural standards.

• Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve technical issues, providing solutions that minimize downtime and optimize performance.

• Documentation: Create and maintain architectural diagrams, design documents, and technical specifications.

The job entails extensive amount of travel. The job also entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email or face to face.

Estimated annual compensation range for candidate based in the below locations will be
Lisle, IL : $118,446 to $ 164,281
