    Position summary

    • Strong understanding of retail and merchandise operations best practices and how they can be integrated with Blue Yonder systems.

    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, design solutions, and implement MOS strategies that optimize merchandise planning, allocation, and replenishment processes.

    • Provide thought leadership and strategic guidance to clients on best practices for merchandise operations, leveraging Blue Yonder MOS capabilities.

    • Conduct detailed analyses of client business processes and develop customized solutions to address specific challenges and opportunities.

    Practice Development

    • Provide insight and thought leadership to develop innovative assets, including differentiated points of view and methodologies.

    • Mentor and guide junior consultants, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional development.

    Sales

    • Support in proposal development and leading proposal discussions

    • Lead solution definition for client specific needs during opportunity to closure cycle.

    Qualifications

    Basic Qualifications/ Requirements:

    • Bachelor's degree in business, Supply Chain Management, Information Technology, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.

    • 07+ years of experience in business consulting, with a focus on merchandise operations within the retail sector.

    • 5+ years of end-to-end business process ownership in retail merchandise planning, allocation, replenishment, and overall supply chain processes.

    • 3+ implementations of Blue Yonder MOS or prior release such as JDA Portfolio Merchandise Management (PMM).

    • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

    • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.

    • Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor teams in a collaborative and dynamic work environment.

    • Flexibility to travel as required to meet client needs.

    • Bachelor's degree or MBA or overseas equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education

    Preferred Requirements:

    • Blue Yonder Merchandise Operations Certification

    • Proficient in Procurement, ELC, ALC, Inventory costs throughout the most complex, multi-channel retail environments

    • Integration with Supply Chain Planning, Order Management, Omni-channel.
