Position summary

Have experience in administration and upgrade of Opentext Archive server.
Administration and Upgrade of SAP BOBJ and DataServices.
Good to have experience on SAP BTP, Fiori and cloud components.
Familiarity with SAP HANA and other database systems.
Knowledge of operating systems such as Linux, AIX and Windows servers.
Have familiarity with clustered OS environments, work in HA/DR set-up.
Perform system refreshes, Backup and restore in various databases.
Experience with SAP system upgrades and patches.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Certifications in SAP administration or related areas.
Proven experience as an SAP Administrator or in a similar role.
Strong understanding of SAP architecture and modules.
Proficiency in troubleshooting and resolving SAP system issues.
Experience with system monitoring and tuning.
Familiarity with backup and recovery processes.
Knowledge of SAP best practices.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Knowledge of and experience with UC4 tool and its administration.
Knowledge on Integration of UC4 with SAP and non-SAP applications/interfaces.
Having knowledge on interface scheduling, file transfer job scheduling, BW process chains, job scheduling for Unix etc.
Provide day-to-day management: Modify, add, and delete jobs/interfaces and daily monitoring for production
systems.
Setup process / procedures for batch job notifications, alerts and monitoring / escalation.
Scheduling/modifying scripts in UC4 as per user requirement.
Troubleshooting of all jobs in case of failure.
Additional knowledge on UC4 Migration and End to End UC4 Implementation would be preferred
Basic knowledge on SAP Basis administration.
Should be able to perform basis monitoring such as SAP system performance, monitoring of dumps, file-system growth, monitoring of jobs, process, user response times, process monitoring, locks monitoring, releasing locks, backup monitoring, etc.
Should have basic knowledge on troubleshooting performance and space related issues in SAP system.
Should have worked on AIX, Linux, Windows systems.
Knowledge on job scheduling for Sap applications.
Should be able to perform documentation of various regular procedures.
Should understand requirement from the client and perform the activity requirement.
Employ in-depth knowledge specific to the service being supported to troubleshoot and resolve customer impacting/potentially customer impacting issues
Assists in creation of scripts to automate repetitive network, systems and data management functions.
Assists in the maintenance, creation and testing of Level 1 Runbooks.
Escalates functionally and hierarchically as required and according to established SOPs.
Participates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned.
Analytical skills
Experience and desire to work in a Global delivery environment.
The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email or face to face.
