Position summary
perience as Database Administrator in Global Operations team (primarily on SAP HANA and ASE Database Platforms)
Preferred
- Extensive experience in installation, configuration, maintenance and troubleshooting of SAP NetWeaver
- Work experience in Cloud Operations for running applications systems on a large scale.
- Experience in ITIL and IT Service Management processes such as Incident Management, Event Management / Monitoring, Change Request Management
- Experience in SAP System Upgrades, Kernel Upgrades, installed Support Package using SPAM, SAINT, and SUM along with OSS notes implementation
- Contributing to initiatives to reduce application related outages.
- Good understanding of the SAP Basis systems both on Operation system level as well as inside the SAP system, preferably holding SAP certification in NW administration or S/4HANA System administration
- Ability to troubleshoot complex issues and work on time critical assignments.
- Positive, proactive, and customer-focused attitude
- DB installations and upgrade, Planning, setup and implementation.
- Providing technical expertise and support in optimizing and tuning of Systems. Performance Optimization.
- DB Concept on Security, Backup and recovery strategies, performance tuning, System Copies, high availability, and disaster recovery strategy, export-import, replication.
