- Lead end-to-end BW/BOBJ operations including incidents, problems, changes, and enhancements.
- Manage BW modeling, ETL extraction, transformations, DTPs, process chains, data load monitoring, and optimization.
- Ensure reliability of BOBJ tools such as WebI, Lumira, Analysis for Office, Crystal Reports, and Dashboards.
Analytics & Reporting Governance
- Ensure data accuracy, data load timeliness, and compliance with data governance.
- Govern analytical solution development, semantic layers, and universes.
- Support reporting needs for Finance, SCM, HR, PM, Production, and other domains.
Onsite Coordination & Stakeholder Engagement
- Act as the primary onsite focal point for customer IT and business analytics teams.
- Provide daily updates, manage escalations, ensure SLA/KPI compliance.
- Facilitate requirements, UAT discussions, and business alignment.
Enhancements & Project Support
- Lead BW development for S/4HANA transformation, CDS-based reporting, and BTP analytics integration.
- Support BW/4HANA migration (if applicable), and integration using SLT, ODP, Data Services.
- Coordinate with Basis, Security, ABAP, Integration, and Functional teams.
System Performance & Landscape Management
- Monitor and optimize queries, InfoProviders, CompositeProviders, ADSOs, HANA views.
- Manage BOBJ servers, schedules, BI Launchpad stability, and security.
- Ensure reliable process chain executions and data load performance.
Incident, Problem & Change Management
- Lead RCA for recurring data or reporting issues.
- Validate and approve BW/BOBJ-related changes.
- Ensure alignment with customer change governance.
People Leadership & Continuous Improvement
- Mentor onsite/offshore BW/BOBJ teams.
- Promote modeling, reporting, and performance-tuning best practices.
- Automate data loads, monitoring, and report distribution.
