    About the Role:

    We are seeking an experienced SuccessFactors Employee Central Lead with deep SAP Payroll SME expertise to drive enhancement projects, solution design, and continuous improvement initiatives for our HR technology landscape.
    This individual will provide hands-on leadership for Employee Central & Employee Central Payroll (ECP) solution enhancements, guide customers through design workshops, propose innovative solutions, and ensure robust, compliant payroll processes aligned to Australian legislation. The role combines **functional leadership, payroll expertise, solution architecture, and project delivery.

    Key Responsibilities:

    1. Lead Enhancement Projects for Employee Central & Payroll**
      • Own end to end delivery of enhancement initiatives across EC and Employee Central Payroll.
      • Drive solution design, configuration, testing, and deployment for new features and process improvements.
      • Build functional specifications, solution strategies, blueprints, and design documentation.

    2. Act as Subject Matter Expert (SME) for SAP Payroll (Australia)
    • Serve as the primary expert for SAP Payroll and Employee Central Payroll (ECP).
    • Ensure payroll processes adhere to Australian legislation, compliance rules, and enterprise policies.
    • Provide expert guidance on payroll schema, rules, configuration, off cycle, superannuation, taxation, leave loading, and pay processing.

    3. Hands On Solution Delivery & Customer Engagement
    • Conduct design discussions, workshops, demos, POCs, and stakeholder presentations.
    • Build solution options and create accurate effort estimates for enhancement requests and new initiatives.
    • Work closely with business stakeholders to validate requirements and secure approvals.

    4. Innovation, Continuous Improvement & Best Practice
    • Recommend improvement opportunities aligned to SAP best practices and standard processes.
    • Champion innovation by leveraging new SuccessFactors release features and product capabilities.
    • Identify automation and optimisation opportunities across EC and Payroll processes.

    5. Implementation, Training & Change Adoption
    • Lead configuration and functional set up for EC Payroll and related EC functionality.
    • Conduct workshops and training for Power Users and support UAT preparation and execution.
    • Support end user documentation and knowledge enablement activities.

    6. Testing, Quality Assurance & Integration Leadership
    • Perform unit, integration, and regression testing for EC and ECP enhancement cycles.
    • Guide business teams during UAT and ensure defect resolution.
    • Collaborate with SAP functional consultants across modules for integration touchpoints with:

    • S/4HANA HCM
    • Finance
    • Time
    • Other SF modules

    7. Governance, Documentation & Thought Leadership
    • Create and maintain Blueprint, Functional Specifications, and Process Documents.
    • Ensure compliance with change management and audit requirements.
    • Lead and participate in organisation-wide initiatives, thought leadership, and proposal development.
    • Mentor junior consultants and help build ECP capability across the team.

    Skills, Competencies & Experience Required:
    Core Technical Expertise
    • Deep hands-on experience with SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central Payroll (ECP).
    • 8-10+ years' experience in Australian SAP Payroll (implementation + support).
    • Strong understanding of Australian payroll processes including taxation, superannuation, leave rules, and compliance.
    • Proven experience designing, configuring, and testing SuccessFactors Payroll.
    • Strong integration knowledge between EC/ECP and S/4HANA HCM and Finance.
    • Certified on SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central Payroll (ECP).

    Functional & Domain Knowledge
    • Strong understanding of HR and Payroll processes in the Australian context.
    • Ability to map business requirements to standard SAP solutions and best practices.
    • Experience with enhancement projects, solution estimation, and design leadership.
