    Position summary

    s/plants based on an existing global template. The role spans fit-gap, localization, configuration & integration, data migration, cutover, and hypercare, working closely with business SMEs, product owners, and technical teams.

    Key Responsibilities
    Rollout & Template Governance
    • Analyze fit-gap against the global EWM template; document localization needs, country-specific legal/quality requirements, and operational constraints.
    • Drive template adoption while proposing controlled deviations backed by business case and impact analysis.
    • Create/extend org structure: warehouse numbers, storage types/sections/bins, activity areas, queues, work centers, resources.
    • Coordinate with cross-functional teams (MM/SD/PP/QM/TM/MDG/Basis/Security) and release management for transport sequencing.
    Core EWM Functional Scope
    • Inbound: ASN/IDN handling, GR strategy, deconsolidation, QIE integration (QM), HU & packaging specs, POSC/LOSC, exception handling.
    • Outbound: Wave management, pick/pack/ staging, WT/WO determination, cartonization/packing, GI & PPF outputs, integration with SD/TM.
    • Internal: Replenishment, stock transfers, slotting/rearrangement, physical inventory, VAS, cross-docking, kitting/pack spec rules.
    • RF Framework: Menu design, exception codes, device testing, queue priorities.
    • Master Data & Control: Product/Batch/Serial, pack specs, storage control, process types, document/item types, WOCRs, warehouse/order creation rules.
    • Integration: , qRFC monitoring, IDocs, TM freight units & stages, HU interface, QIE, optional YL/MFS/Labor Management.
    Build, Test & Cutover
    • Configure EWM per template; produce FS/Config RDs, WRICEF specs (forms, labels, RF screens, enhancements, PPF actions, BAdIs like /SCWM/EX_*).
    • Prepare test scenarios, traceability, and lead SIT/UAT with defect triage; ensure performance and volume test readiness.
    • Define cutover plan: master data loads, stock upload, open orders, bin creation, wave queues, mock runs with rehearsal checklists.
    • Execute data migration (LSMW/BDC/standard APIs): products, packspecs, bins, HU types, BP/customer/vendor, stock initial load.
    • Provide go-live support & hypercare
    Operations & Support
    • Create training content (SOPs, RF job aids), conduct end-user training & key-user enablement.
    • Establish monitoring & support procedures: /SCWM/MON, /SCWM/SQUEUE, SMQ2, SM58, SLG1, delivery monitors, PPF error handling.
    Drive continuous improvements post-rollout; document lessons learned and backlog.
    Skills

    Skills
    • Strong SAP experience with experience in EWM; at least 2 end-to-end EWM implementations and 1+ rollouts.
    • Hands-on configuration in:
    o Inbound/Outbound/Internal processes, POSC/LOSC, WT/WO determination, WOCR, Activity Areas, Queues, Resource Management, Replenishment, Physical Inventory.
    o RF Framework, HU & Packaging Specs, PPF (output & actions), QIE integration.
    • Strong integration knowledge with MM/SD/TM/QM/PP and IDoc/qRFC/CIF/DRF replication.
    • Experience in data migration, cutover, and hypercare in warehouse go-lives.
    • Ability to write FS, review TS/ABAP specs, and guide WRICEF build (BAdIs, enhancements, forms & labels, smartforms/Adobe).
    • Proficient with testing tools (e.g., Solution Manager/ALM), defect management, and release management.
    • Excellent stakeholder communication; proven record working with operations users on the shop floor (with RF).
    Nice-to-Have
    • Embedded EWM on S/4HANA experience (2023) knowledge of differences vs. Decentral EWM.
    • Exposure to Yard Logistics, Labor Management, MFS, Kitting, Advanced VAS, Cross-Docking, Slotting/Rearrangement optimization.
    • SAP TM integration (freight units, OTR/DTR, stages, freight order updates).
    • Experience with barcode/RF devices, label formats (ZPL/EPL), and printer setup.
    • Familiarity with MDG
