Preferred Qualifications:
At least 4 years of relevant SAP Basis and Release Manager experience
As a basis release coordinator, you are required to work with technical team to build cutover plan.
Advise functional teams for Basis related queries.
Conduct release readiness reviews, milestone reviews and business go/no-go reviews
Monitor and track task progress daily during release.
Act as a liaison between different teams to ensure smooth execution of release.
Identify potential bottlenecks, risks that could affect release scope, schedule.
Work with technical team to develop contingency plans to mitigate potential issues.
Communication - conduct meeting with stakeholders, send status report to stakeholders.
You will need to guide/mentor/lead the team for successful project deliveries.
You will be dealing with customer on day-to-day basis and win customer confidence.
Improve existing release processes.
Documentation - Document lesson learned during release, conduct lesson learned meetings.
Should have worked at least 4 years in SAP BASIS.
Should have worked in 2-3 upgrade, implementation projects as BASIS consultant
Should have hands on experience in SAP upgrade and Basis copyback activities.
Previous experience as release co-ordinator or similar role.
Exposure to project management tools.
Solid strategic planning and design skills.
Should be aware of release governance processes and have experience in working on any incident management tool.
Proactive approach to problem solving.
Experience in working in Global delivery model (GDM) will be an added advantage.

Professional degree, SAP Basis certification with associate level (preferred).
Experience in leading team within and outside project work.
IT industry experience in consulting area is highly preferred.
