Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
At least 4 years of Information Technology experience.
Knowledge of File Transfer Methods, SFTP, HTTPS, FTPS, CD.
Knowledge of Sterling File Gateway, creating trading partners, Template and channel and how to connect to vendor and transfer a file.
Template creation and the difference between static and dynamic. Also to be trained on Facts and regex usage.
Inbound Transfers - How to get the file from the vendor through push and pull mechanism and route it to the internal location.
Outbound Transfers - How to send the file to the vendor through push / vendor pull from our Gateway.
Knowledge of provide access to the users connecting to our Gateway, what policy needs to be applied and permission to be provided.
Knowledge to encrypt the files send to the vendor using PGP and how to decrypt them when received from the vendor.
Knowledge of authentication methods used, and types of keys used in Sterling File Gateway.
Knowledge of creating and executing Business Process to complex transfer method, pull from vendor etc.
Ability to schedule the jobs and Event based file transfer methods.
Knowledge of when and how to add the code list entry and its uses.
Knowledge of Troubleshooting issues during file transfer failure.

All types of File transfer processes.
Critical Production issue triage.
Knowledge of Production Support ITIL process.
Drive process improvements.
The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email or face to face.
