    Position summary

    and apply your technical proficiency across different stages of the Software Development Life Cycle including Requirements Elicitation, Application Architecture definition and Design. You will play an important role in creating the high-level design artifacts. You will also deliver high quality code deliverables for a module, lead validation for all types of testing and support activities related to implementation, transition and warranty.     The responsibilities will include:

    • Consolidate and reduce infrastructure complexity
    • Maintain all windows Servers with up-to-date security patches and version standardized for the banking environment
    • Provide technical consultation
    • Task automation
    • Risk Awareness and Resolution Management
    • Ensure Service Quality Targets are met for offered platform services
    • Product roadmaps and keep other areas of bank's informed about the Technological infrastructure capabilities available including LCM.
    • Provide 7x24 on-call support in a roster basis
    • Support Weekend tasks in a roster basis

    Technical Skills

    To be successful in this role you should meet the following requirements:

        • In-depth administration, technical and architectural knowledge of Windows Server (2016/2019/2022) in a highly virtualized environment
        • Install, configure, and maintain Windows Server (2016/2019/2022) across physical, virtual (VMware/Hyper-V)
        • Handle Windows Failover Clustering, Network Load Balancing, and High Availability configurations
        • Manage Active Directory (AD), Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, File Services, and Print Services.
        • Manage storage: NTFS permissions, DFS, SMB shares, and integration with SAN/NAS.
        • Deploy, configure, and maintain VMware vSphere, ESXi hosts, vCenter Server, and related components.
        • Manage VM provisioning, templates, snapshots, and resource allocation.
        • Configure VMware HA, DRS, vMotion, and Storage vMotion for high availability
        • Perform OS lifecycle management: patching, upgrades, and kernel-level troubleshooting.
        • Develop PowerShell scripts for Windows and VMware automation tasks
        • Solid understanding of storage systems, SAN/NAS concepts, and enterprise backup strategies.
        • Good understanding of ITIL practices and experience working in regulated environments (banking/finance preferred).
        • Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and documentation skills.
        • Good Knowledge in automation tools, like Ansible
        • Good Knowledge in DevOps tools, like Confluence, JIRA
        • Strong communication skills to interact with diverse user groups from application developer, application support team, project managers, and other domains expertise, both written and verbal in English

    Preferred

        • Microsoft Certified: Windows Server Hybrid Administrator Associate

        • VMware Certified Professional (VCP)

        • Good understanding of ITIL practices and experience working in regulated environments (banking/finance preferred).

        • Experience with incident resolution and root cause analysis for major incidents and outages.

        • Service Now experience and/or with any other ticketing management application.

        • Experience with incident+ request management, change management including CAB representation

        • French is a plus.
