    What You'll Do

    • Ownership of Tableau business intelligence solutions creation, including reports, dashboards, metadata, schedules, and security

    • Provide architecture and design guidance to the team for creating Tableau Reporting and data models to provide high quality, performant and reliable business insight to the stakeholders

    • Engage directly with Product Managers and business analytics stakeholders to understand their business goals, review requirements, and translate asks into detailed technical development plans.

    • Elevate IH's Tableau visualization UI/UX practice by delivering insightful, relevant, and highly usable intelligent solutions to our business analytics partners.

    • Define and manage project deliverables, timelines, and dependencies following an agile SDLC to reduce time to delivery.

    • Recommend technical solutions based on business requirements and prioritization

    • Deploy data and reporting pipeline monitoring approaches to ensure accuracy of data assets. If issues arise, this role will analyze concerns, validate variance in sources (databases) to target (Tableau reporting), and address potential issues on the reporting tier.

    • Mentor and coach other information engineers and business analysts when hitting roadblocks or on best practices.

    Who We're Looking For

    • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Sciences, Business Analytics, or technical field preferred + 5 years' experience or Master's Degree + 3 years' experience

    • 5+ years of professional experience working on enterprise-scale Business Intelligence or reporting teams

    • 5+ years of recent experience building BI reporting using Tableau, Power BI, or Qlik

    • 4+ years working in SQL, Snowflake, Redshift, or Azure Data Factory

    • 2+ years experience with wireframing tools such as Figma, Miro, or other

    • Experience working in agile development environment using Jira or DevOps

    • Experience with Human-Centered Design (HCD), Customer Experience (CX), User Experience (UX), or User Interface (UI) design

    • Strongly preferred experience with DBT

    • Excellent attention to detail

    • Expert ability to identify, craft, and communicate data-driven insights

    • Excellent design focus, with proven ability to seek, receive, and incorporate stakeholder feedback

    • Constantly curious, with the ability to lean in and learn the "why" not just the "what"

    • Love of technology and actively seeks to continue education of current and emerging technologies

    • Experience working in real estate or hospitality domain highly desirable

    Physical and Mental Demands

    This position will spend long hours sitting and using office equipment and computers. The position may also entail light lifting of supplies and materials occasionally, up to and including 20 pounds in addition to reaching, stooping, standing, and walking.
