About the role/team:

As part of our Product Team, you will work closely and cross-functionally with leaders across the company and some of the biggest and well-known brands in the world to take our world-class messaging products to the next level. One of our product's superpowers is the scale at which it operates, allowing customers to interact with billions of consumers at high performance.

As a Product Manager, you will have ownership over a broad product portfolio and associated roadmap, delivering delightful and creative Channel experiences to our customers. This PM role has an SMS and Instant Messaging focus but will touch on other areas of strategic ownership. As a PM, you will dive deep, become an expert, and drive our SMS, Social Messaging and Push notification roadmaps forward. You will oversee product development for existing channels, branch into new channels, and develop cross-channel features. This is an essential role with the need for a PM to be versed in the SMS messaging landscape, and a strong collaborator who can partner with cross-functional teams to deliver market-leading mobile messaging products. The Product Team works closely with our Design and Engineering Teams and lives by user empathy daily. You will work with our internal teams and directly with our customers to help determine and prioritize product features that have a high impact on Iterable's business.

You understand SMS technologies, have an understanding of delivery and compliance, are passionate about user experience and how customers work within our product. You are passionate about helping companies, both Iterable and our customers, grow. In this role, you'll report to the Group Product Manager, Channels.

In this role you'll get to:

  • Contribute to the success of our channels and help us grow and expand channels
  • Be the internal "voice of the customer"
  • Work with Customer Success, Engineering, Marketing, Sales, Delivery, Security and other PMs to ship products
  • Understand customer personas and use cases to establish product requirements and roll out new features and enhancements
  • Build use cases and determine product requirements to roll out new features and enhancements
  • Provide ongoing documentation of customer demands and product functionality
  • Research industry trends to identify new product features and opportunities

We are looking for people who have:

  • Experience as a Product Manager focused on SMS messaging
  • Experience delivering products at a B2B SaaS company
  • Experience and understanding of the landscape for compliance in SMS
  • Strategic thinking and ability to prioritize high-impact features.
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Delivered intuitive UI experiences
  • Experience working with agile Engineering teams and tools like Jira
  • Experience with user testing and data analysis
  • Experience driving decisions based on business and technical data
  • Experience working in a shifting environment
  • Excellent collaboration skills with cross-functional teams, including Engineering, Design, and Customer Success, and internal SMEs

Bonus points:

  • Experience with RCS, WhatsApp, Push Notifications, and other Social Channels
  • Familiarity with user growth and engagement strategies
  • Experience using data analysis tools (e.g. SQL, Excel, Looker) to bring insights
  • Prior work experience in B2B and B2C markets
  • Prior work or familiarity with the development of mobile or web applications.

The US base salary range for this position at the start of employment is $107,000 - $175,000. Within this range, individual pay is determined by specific US work location, as well as additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, relevant education or training, and internal equity considerations.

Please note that the range listed above reflects only base salary. The total compensation package includes variable pay (where applicable), equity, plus a range of benefits, including medical, dental, vision, and financial. In addition, we offer perks such as generous stipends for health & fitness and learning & development, among others.
