Manage materials that are Business Unit specific and/or strategic.
Understand suppliers, their capabilities, market trend and technologies for assigned commodities.
Communicate Jabil expectations to the suppliers.
Collaborate with internal teams and customers to improve sourcing options and supplier performance.
Analyze and project component costs for financial reporting and quoting.
Monitor supplier performance in terms of cost, delivery, and quality.
Influence customer supply chain strategies to align with company capabilities.
Hard Skills Requirements:
Advanced Excel & Data Analysis: Ability to analyze pricing trends, cost projections, and supplier performance metrics.
ERP Systems Knowledge: Experience with supply chain modules in systems like SAP, Oracle, or similar software.
KPI PU knowledge to support PU strategies (DII, Inventory etc)
Standard Costing & Financial Acumen: Familiarity with inventory valuation and cost variance analysis (MPV/PPV).
Supplier Management: Experience conducting supplier performance evaluations.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or related field.
3+ years of experience in purchasing or supply chain roles.
Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work cross-functionally and influence stakeholders.
