What will you do?
Responsible for new product introduction (NPI) including time studies, equipment selection, line balance data, tooling specifications, manpower requirements, and all aspects of process development
Develops methods of operation to increase efficiency and reduce costs by studying product designs, materials, machines, and work flow
Designs and develops fixtures, jigs, and tools to facilitate efficient assembly or processing of products
Ensure compliance with established standards, policies, and practices relating to quality, safety, ergonomics, etc.
Establishes production schedules based on production requirements and resources available
Works closely with Operations Management to resolve all issues related to throughput, quality, and plant operations
Maintain accurate records and reports of activities such as labor utilization, machine performance, production levels, defective rates, etc.
Provide assistance in maintaining ISO certification
Assist with electrical applications such as troubleshooting electrical wiring and testing of motors and control devices
Work safely around moving parts, electrical installations, hot surfaces, and sharp objects
How will you get here?
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline
Experience:
2-5 years of hands professional electrical or mechanical engineering experience preferably in manufacturing environment
Ability to read, interpret, and execute schematics
Must be able to lead techs and manufacturing personal
Strong communication and training skills
Must have experience electrical concepts such as wiring layouts, electrical design
AutoCAD or SolidWorks
