    Jabil is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Workcell Manager to oversee the performance and operations of a designated workcell within our manufacturing site. This role involves ensuring the achievement of production, quality, financial, and customer satisfaction goals while fostering a culture of continuous improvement. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills, with a proven ability to manage cross-functional teams effectively.

    IN YOUR ROLE YOU WILL :

    • Operational Leadership:

      • Oversee day-to-day operations of the workcell to meet production schedules, quality standards, and customer delivery timelines.
      • Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and industry standards.
      • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and implement corrective actions when necessary.
    • Team Management:

      • Lead and manage a cross-functional team, including production supervisors, operators, and support staff.
      • Foster a collaborative and high-performance culture through coaching, mentoring, and employee development.
      • Conduct performance evaluations, provide feedback, and create individual development plans.
    • Financial Management:

      • Develop and manage the workcell budget, including labor, materials, and equipment.
      • Drive cost-saving initiatives while maintaining product quality and customer satisfaction.
      • Analyze financial data to identify opportunities for efficiency and profitability improvements.
    • Customer Focus:

      • Serve as the primary point of contact for customer interactions related to the workcell.
      • Ensure customer requirements are met or exceeded in terms of quality, cost, and delivery.
      • Collaborate with customers to resolve issues and enhance relationships.
    • Continuous Improvement:

      • Champion lean manufacturing practices and Six Sigma methodologies to improve processes, reduce waste, and increase efficiency.

      • Lead root cause analysis for operational issues and implement corrective actions.

      • Promote a culture of innovation and proactive problem-solving within the team.

    EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS :

    • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field preferred.

    • 5+ years of experience in manufacturing operations, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.

    • Demonstrated expertise in lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and other continuous improvement methodologies.

    • Strong financial acumen, including budgeting, cost control, and profitability analysis.

    • Exceptional leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire diverse teams.

    • Proven track record of building and maintaining customer relationships.

    • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

    • Proficiency in ERP systems and MS Office Suite.
