include software development, testing, and manual verifications of the medical device in a simulated cath lab environment. The co-op will attend daily stand-up meetings, perform code reviews, write software, and work closely with other teams to generate a quality patient-care product.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Conduct manual testing for the embedded software for the medical device
• Write test cases and produce test plans for release cycles
• Create automated test scripts for integration testing of the device software
• Participate in daily meetings with other scrum team members
• Create bug reports for defects in the software and test bug fixes
Qualifications
REQUIREMENTS
• Student pursuing a degree in computer science, data science, data engineering, software engineering, biomedical engineering, or related field
• Knowledge of basic programming languages (JavaScript, Python, C#, Elixir/Erlang, etc.)
• Knowledge of database languages such as SQL
• Knowledge of heart anatomy and physiology is a plus
• Knowledge of software containers and Docker/Kubernetes is a plus
• Knowledge of software test frameworks (Cypress/Mocha/Jasmine/Pytest/Junit) is a plus
