    Johnson & Johnson is recruiting a Director, Social Impact, based in Titusville, NJ on a hybrid schedule, requiring 3-days a week in office and 2-days a week working from home.

    Purpose: The role focuses on leading the development and execution of strategic plans that align social impact initiatives with business goals and enhances the health and well-being of patients and the communities in which we live and work. It emphasizes active engagement with stakeholders and the establishment of partnerships to support community-centered initiatives.

    Responsibilities include financial management, reporting, and compliance for charitable activities, as well as leading a team dedicated to program development and execution in the areas of strategic giving and partnerships, medicine donations, and employee giving and volunteerism.

    The focus of this position is to set the strategy, ensure excellence in execution, accountability, governance, quality, and impact.

    Responsibilities:

    Strategy Development and Implementation: Lead the development and execution of a strategic plan that aligns social impact and community initiatives with business goals and Credo values, while developing community involvement strategies that enhance employee engagement, recruitment, and retention.

    Stakeholder Engagement: Active engagement with key internal and external stakeholders invested in the communities we serve, developing and nurturing collaborations in alignment with social impact strategies as well as representing the Company at relevant activities in the local communities around our campuses.

    Planning, Control & Reporting: Financial and budget management, effective systems and workflow to support charitable giving and community involvement. Oversee data capture, impact analytics and reporting across multiple charitable platforms.

    Impact Measurement: Establish clear metrics and frameworks for measuring the effectiveness and outcomes of social impact initiatives, ensuring continuous improvement based on data-driven insights**.**

    Governance: Responsible for building effective internal partnerships with healthcare compliance, finance, tax, legal, and others to ensure the efficiency, effectiveness, quality and regulatory compliance across our giving. Ensure adherence to all related internal and external regulatory requirements and industry standards.

    Team Leadership: Lead and develop team of four responsible for program development and execution of strategic giving, pharmaceutical product donations, and employee community involvement initiatives and activities.

    Communications: Communicate effectively with employees, leadership, and the local community about social impact programs and achievements to enhance the company's public image and increase employee engagement and pride.

    Qualifications / Requirements:

    Education:

    • Bachelor's degree is required

    • Post Graduate Degree (eg. MBA, MA, MS) is preferred

    Required:

    • 10+ years of proven experience in a compliance-rich environment

    • 5+ years as People leader with a focus on development and engagement

    • Strong analytics, ability to shape strategy and decisions based on data

    • Budget Management and Financial Acumen

    • Experience working in a matrixed environment

    • Strong connector and collaboration skills required

    • Effective oral & written communication skills, including presenting to Executive level and Board presentations

    • Demonstrated program management expertise and ability to produce quality results

    • Strategic Thinking and the ability to manage complexity, ambiguity and multiple competing priorities

    • Intermediate knowledge of MS Office Suite of Products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

    Preferred:

    • Pharmaceutical industry experience

    • Area of Study: Communications, Public Affairs, Public Health

    • Experience with electronic granting systems

    • Prior social impact experience

    • Intermediate Excel for data analysis, financial management, and impact measurement

    Other:

    This position is located in Titusville, NJ and may involve travel up to 10% to other J&J locations.

    The anticipated base pay range for this position is $146,000 to $251,850.

    The Company maintains highly competitive, performance-based compensation programs. Under current guidelines, this position is eligible for an annual performance bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan. The annual performance bonus is a cash bonus intended to provide an incentive to achieve annual targeted results by rewarding for individual and the corporation's performance over a calendar/performance year. Bonuses are awarded at the Company's discretion on an individual basis.

    Employees and/or eligible dependents may be eligible to participate in the following Company sponsored employee benefit programs: medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short- and long-term disability, business accident insurance, and group legal insurance.

    Employees may be eligible to participate in the Company's consolidated retirement plan (pension) and savings plan (401(k)).

    Employees are eligible for the following time off benefits:

    • Vacation - up to 120 hours per calendar year

    • Sick time - up to 40 hours per calendar year; for employees who reside in the State of Washington - up to 56 hours per calendar year

    • Holiday pay, including Floating Holidays - up to 13 days per calendar year of Work, Personal and Family Time - up to 40 hours per calendar year
