    We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Fleet Leader to oversee our fleet operations and lead a team of Fleet Managers. This role requires a strong focus on both process optimization and people leadership, ensuring that our fleet management strategies align with the organization's goals while developing our team members to reach their full potential. They will partner with a cross functional team to ensure all business objectives are met, reducing cycles times, decreasing costs and improving the driver experience. Cross functional partnerships will include Procurement, Total Rewards, Finance, Legal and others. You will be responsible for managing other Managers, Supervisors, and/or individual contributors in a matrix environment, and is accountable for conducting effective performance management and meaningful career development conversations.

    Main Responsibilities include but are not limited to;

    Strategy

    • Collaborate with senior management to establish fleet-related goals and initiatives aligned with corporate strategies.

    • Analyze market trends and industry developments to inform strategic decisions regarding fleet expansion, replacement, and technological advancements.

    • Integrates Johnson & Johnson's Credo and Leadership Imperatives into team goals and decision making.

    Process

    • Develop and implement effective fleet management processes and strategies to optimize operations, reduce costs, and improve service delivery.

    • Monitor fleet performance metrics and KPIs, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.

    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance operational efficiency and integrate technology solutions within fleet operations.

    • Conduct regular audits and reviews of fleet activities to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective measures

    • Ensures governance compliance with all laws and regulations applicable to the department and its operations.

    • Facilitates risk assessments, drives informed decision-making, and ensures the resolution of critical issues.

    • Support all Fleet audits and create a regular cadence of audit readiness reviews.

    People Leadership

    • Lead, motivate, and develop a team of Fleet Managers, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.

    • Provide coaching and mentorship to team members, supporting their professional growth and development.

    • Conduct regular team meetings to review objectives, share updates, and address any concerns or challenges.

    • Assess team performance, provide constructive feedback, and conduct performance appraisals.

    • Oversee and motivate project team members to deliver business objectives by assessing resource needs, removing barriers to success, and providing constructive feedback when needed.

    Qualifications

    Required:

    • 7+ years of experience in fleet operations, procurement, or related roles involving corporate spend categories

    • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field

    • Experience in dealing with FMCs, leasing companies, OEMs, and other suppliers in a global setting

    • Strong knowledge of fleet operations best practices

    • Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, communication, project management, and decision-making skills

    Preferred:

    • MBA or Master's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field
    • Professional certification in fleet management
    • Experience in managing global fleet operations in a multinational company
    • Knowledge of sustainable fleet practices and technologies
    • Experience with data analysis and reporting tools
    • Multilingual abilities to communicate with global stakeholders
