We are searching for the best talent for Inventory Specialist to be in San Angelo, TX.
Job Summary
Conducts inventory counts and analysis. Reviews and audits departmental procedures, (RID, completed forms, PO receipts and documentation). Prepares paperwork and follows up process. Facilitates the logistics.
Duties & Responsibilities
Under general direction of the Materials Management Manager and in accordance with all applicable federal, state and local laws/regulations and Corporate Johnson & Johnson, procedures and guidelines, this position:
Creates Work Orders for manufacturing, validations, programs, testing, salvage process, etc.
Communicate any major issues to the next shifts incoming Inventory Specialist.
Performs regular Cycle counts per approved procedures in conjunction with Warehouse/Vault Associates.
Investigates Inventory Discrepancies.
Perform PO Receipts in ERP.
Communicates with Purchasing and/or Raw Material Supply Planners PO discrepancies/missing paperwork (COC, packing list, closed PO, etc.).
Reviews and completes NCR/Salvage Process tasks (as needed).
Reviews Quarantine Hold Cages to resolve discrepancies.
Review ERP daily for discrepancies and errors such as error status, negative inventory, MES discrepancies and committed raw materials.
Provide support to internal departments to resolve work order issues.
Serves as the backup for Bio-Burden and in vitro/in vivo audit batches.
System corrections for Manufacturing Departments.
Juarez and Puerto Rico Repack corrections.
SOT data logger downloads and reconfiguration.
Performs alternate flow conversions for Manufacturing.
Perform other tasks as assigned by Supervisor and/or Designee.
Follow current Compliance Regulations and Standards.
Ensure safe working conditions and practice in the Department.
Attend/Complete assigned Trainings as instructed by Supervisor or designee or through Compliance Wire.
Comply with all applicable quality management system, environmental, safety and occupational health policies. (for example, ISO 13485, ISO14001 & OSHAS18001).
Provide assistance to Facilitator with Nonconformance, Observation and CAPA tasks when needed.
Provide assistance to Facilitator with Spec Reviews and updates when needed.
Serves as the backup: Sends out reports, as required, associated with Expired Inventory, Cycle Counts and adherence to associated specifications.
Responsible for communicating business related issues or opportunities to next management level
Responsible for following all Company guidelines related to Health, Safety and Environmental practices as applicable.
For those who supervise or manage a staff, responsible for ensuring that subordinates follow all Company guidelines related to Health, Safety and Environmental practices and that all resources needed to do so are available and in good condition, if applicable
Responsible for ensuring personal and Company compliance with all Federal, State, local and Company regulations, policies, and procedures
Performs other duties assigned as needed
Qualifications
High School/Secondary Education or Equivalent required.
0 -2 Years Relevant Experience
APICS certification (preferred)
Basic computer skills and use of software application(s).
Knowledge of ERP system, Intermediate Excel skills.
Understands ADAPTIV
Understands and adheres to EPS principles and rules.
English (Speak, Read, Write), Bilingual preferred (English & Spanish)
