Position overview
This position is accountable for the overall E2E integration of the Plan systems across the J&J MedTech Supply Chain. He / she will shape and deploy the overarching MedTech Plan system vision and comprehensive strategy in alignment with the respective stakeholders. This will result in a clear and aligned capability roadmap across the core planning processes / technologies and its connection with the overall digital landscape. In addition, this role will help transform / standardize underlying Plan technologies and ensure their integration. The person in this role will demonstrate strong experience in supply chain, planning systems / capabilities, end to end & strategic thinking, digital acumen and will partner with senior executives within the MedTech SC functions.
This position will report to the MedTech Plan Digital Lead within the J&J MedTech Supply Chain Digital organization.
Tasks & Responsibilities:
The E2E Plan Strategy & Integration Sr. Manager is responsible for:
Develop the MedTech Plan System vision & strategy, and its integration into the MT SC digital transformation strategy and roadmap.
Overall accountable to develop, refine, and implement the strategy to advance the maturity of our plan systems globally.
Define and manage the multi-year roadmap - investment strategic plan, including critical end-to-end capabilities to transform our business.
Keep abreast with emerging planning concepts - technology partner selection.
Establish strong alignment and linkages to partner functions such as J&J Technology, MT SC Digital, Commercial, Business Unit Supply Chain & Regional Value Chains.
Qualifications & Experience
Education, experience:
Masters in Engineering, Supply Chain, Business Administration, Operations or equivalent experience; MBA preferred.
Minimum of 8-10 years experience working in Supply Chain / Operations to drive business process improvement. Experience in the MedTech industry is a plus.
Project Management: FPX PL or PMP Certification required, FPX SME preferred.
APICS certification preferred.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Demonstrated outstanding strategic thinking & planning, communication and influencing skills.
Understanding of end-to-end supply chain interactions and interdependencies with other functions, including end Customer touchpoints.
Strong background / experience in Supply Chain Planning processes and systems is required. Digital acumen required. In-depth knowledge of Advanced Planning Technologies
Global experience (with multiple countries, regions) and associated cultural awareness required. Experience working with virtual teams and matrix organizations.
Strong analytical and quantitative skills, excellent communication and presentation skills. Strength in interdependent partnering and team management.
Clear understanding of external Supply Chain trends and emerging best practices.
Travel Requirements: 20-30 % international travel.
