OVERALL PURPOSE OF JOB:
Under the supervision of the Patient Advocacy Head, the role of Project Manager & Patient Advocacy is to analyse and understand the patient pathway, in order to create the strategy and lead the creation and implementation of the innovative programs and projects to enhance patient health outcomes.
MAIN ACTIVITIES/TASKS
Partner with Therapeutical Areas/ HEMAR/ Government affairs/ Patient Advocacy Groups to create and lead a Strategic and tactics Plan to meet the needs of the Patients and organization
Develop and implement innovative projects, programs and events to help improve patient outcomes at regional and national level
Be the single point of contact for the assigned Patient Associations, including liaising with those associations to understand their needs, and to contribute to improving the presence, image and reputation of Janssen
Promote and defend the company's image and reputation across the area of patient advocacy groups, as aligned with the Government Affairs Action Plan annual strategy
Coordinate with Government Affairs colleagues, and in particular coordinate and work with professional organisations, universities and Health Authorities
Coordinate with other departments of JnJ including Therapeutic Areas, Regulatory, Legal, HCBI/HCC, Communications and Medical departments
Work closely with Regional Government Affairs Managers in order to understand regional patient advocacy groups' needs and solutions
Based on needs analysis and company objectives, develop an Action Plan for the Patients Associations, in accordance with budget
Monitor and control individual budget assigned to the Project Manager & Patient Advocacy
Lead and facilitate internal approval processes in order to launch projects effectively, including attending committees and managing appropriate internal processes and stakeholders
Monitor progress and success of the projects against established metrics, timelines and commitments
Liaise with the Communications department to manage communications in relation to projects (including both traditional and social media communications
Report all suspected adverse reactions, serious or non serious, I may be aware of within a maximum of 24 hours after being aware of it and communicate it to the Pharmacovigilance Department.
ESSENTIAL KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:
Degree in a relevant scientific, business or related area
Successful professional background in the sales, marketing, MSL, visiting customers.
Valuable experience in the field and communication with clients.
Ability to work very effectively in a team environment
Strong communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills
Demonstrated ability to be a flexible team member with a positive attitude and the ability to prioritise effectively
Capacity to quickly develop strong knowledge and skills in managing internal approval process
Highly advanced language skills in both Spanish and English
