    Job Description:

    Johnson and Johnson are of Technology Services (TS) Latam is currently seeking for a Product Lead Engineer, with solid experience in Multiple platforms and development techniques. We at TS develop, design and deliver high quality business applications, software solutions and services to meet J&J business technology requirements.

    The Product Lead Engineer will be responsible for owning Product engineering and architectural decisions, acting as the executor and the visionary behind the technical solution; works with squad Lead Engineers and Product squads to solve complex engineering problems and craft technical design; accountable for the Product technical architecture, alignment to the technology roadmap, and technical engineering standards

    This individual requires specialized knowledge and skills, problem solving techniques, challenge the status quo, deliver innovation, and determine how to best support the business through the effective use of technology. Primary responsibilities include operating as part of the Agile team, working alongside the Product Owner to understand the requirements, and translate these to a set of deliverables.

    Responsibilities:

    • Responsible for overall Engineering and Technology architecture definition, roadmap, and technical decisions for the product in coordination with the Product Owner, Product Group Engineer and BU Architect.

    • Accountable for ensuring that technical implementation is aligned to the BU Architecture vision, economic framework and business needs

    • Lead engineering teams directly and indirectly.

    • Work closely with the Business Product Manager to define Product strategy/vision

    • Work with squads to problem-solve technical challenges and implement solutions, using the squad technology strategy as a guide; is "hands-on-keys" coding while also supporting system/design/code reviews for squad - inclusive of assembling, writing and approving enablers

    • Drive development and selection of technical solution options (from the approved list of solutions) and test concepts / potential solutions with users

    • Negotiate technology options with business partners and collaborate with platform/product teams to identify opportunities to leverage platforms

    • Manage development and review cadence, align tech landscape across squads to promote reusability, scalability and modularity

    • Monitor product / platform developments and drive leading engineering practices for higher tech quality

    • Own the technology lifecycle management and Product API catalogue, including the definition, creation, and maintenance of technical interfaces

    • Observe technology trends across the industry and conduct research spikes for new capability and innovation opportunities

    • Ensure timely adoption of new technologies and innovation, select and resource ideas to explore via ideation sessions where necessary

    • Help Product Owners/Lead Engineers prioritize technical backlogs (across squads) and coach / mentor product and squad members

    • Works with squads and other Product Lead Engineers to manage risks and solve, escalate, and track cross product dependencies and impediments

    • Be the single point of contact for ISRM, TQ (Q-CSV), vendors, and enterprise platform owners

    • Coaches and mentor others (partners and employees) on best practices, enforcing the highest standards.

    • Conduct SDR (Solution Design Review), reviewing architecture and implementations, and providing valuable feedback on performance, architecture design and implementation.

    • Collaborate with CoP (Community of Practices), sharing knowledge, reusable codes, architecture design references as well as reusing other artifacts to be implemented in customer's projects.

    • Captures customer insights to improve the solutions throughout delivery and delivers continuous improvement recommendations to service owners.

    • Conduct impact analysis on process/tools coming from new/enhanced services.

    • Perform other work-related duties as assigned.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree or equivalent is required. Bachelor's degree in computer science is preferred.
    • 10+ years of relevant work experience is required, developing Microservices and Digital solutions.
    • 7+ years related work experience in large and global enterprises is preferred
    • Experience leading the selection, build, and integration of platforms including data management, API architecture/design, and Cloud Native technologies.
    • Mulesoft experience
    • Experienced with DevOps or IaC (Infrastructure as a Code)
    • Experience owning products / platforms over their lifecycle in a multi-team / channel
    • Proven experience in building, managing and supporting CRM platforms (Salesforce or MS Dynamics)
    • Front-End Development experience is desirable.
    • Experience gathering requirements and translating into a product / platform vision through deep expertise in development, engineering, and UX
    • Experienced in Agile/ Scrum methodologies is desirable (at least one experience).
    • Ability to manage multiple and competing priorities effectively.
    • Strong analytical skills and problem-solving skills required.
    • Good planning, organizational and decision-making skills is a must
    • Fluent verbal and written skills in English. Desirable verbal and written skills in Spanish.
    • People Management experience is mandatory.
    • Ability to lead by influence.
