    Job Description:

    Professional Education Lead, SEA Surgery

    • Johnson & Johnson MedTech is recruiting for a Professional Education SEA within our MedTech SEA Surgery organization. This will be a Regional Manager role and we are open for the role to be based in any of the SEA Markets (Thailand, Malaysia). The role will be part of the SEA Ethicon Leadership Team.

The MedTech Surgery/Ethicon organization is comprised of: Wound Closure & Healing and Biosurgery, Endo Mechanical and Energy, OTTAVA (Surgical Robotics), MONARCH (Flexible Robotics), and MedTech Digital.

    • We are looking for an enthusiastic Professional Education Manager to join our Surgery/Ethicon team in Southeast Asia, a leader who will collaborate across our SEA cross-functional organization through inspiring leadership that stimulates building capabilities to drive short-term and long-term business growth. The role will be critical team member to work with country commercial team, Regional Clinical Development & Education SEA, APAC and Global franchise teams from business planning, customer engagement, development of market/.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Build capabilities to drive MIS acceleration

    • Tie up with centers of excellence

    • Scale up centres of excellence/ training centers across SEA markets in 2-5 years

    • Surgeon selection

    • Identify areas of growth/ profit

    • Local evidence generation

    • New technology training/ Organize roadshows etc.

    • Develop and work with SEA Ethicon country lead to support the company's business objectives and drives revenue growth.

    Qualifications

    Education:

    • A minimum of a bachelor's degree is required; MBBS or advanced degree preferred.

    Experience and Skills:

    Required:

    • 8-10 years of relevant business experience in Professional education, Marketing, General Management, or a related field, preferably medical device.

    • Deep interest in science and surgery business

    • Demonstrated ability to operate in highly complex, hybrid and diversified markets.

    • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization. Fluent English speaking skills is a must.

    • Stakeholder management - Proven ability to lead through influencing cross-functional and senior management to impact decision -making.

    • Proven behaviors as a strong partner and team player with diverse functions namely marketing, commercial, regulatory affairs, clinical affairs, supply chain and operations.

    • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to develop and maintain strong relationships with external partners.

    Preferred:

    • Doctor (MBBS) and healthcare industry experience is preferred.

    Other:

    • Strategic mindset & leadership qualities.
    • Strong desire to learn along with professional drive.
    • Passion for career development and regional exposure, ability to travel independently.
