Our foot and ankle team is seeking a quality control supervisor to join our growing organization. While building your leadership skills and exercising the opportunity for influence, this role is well positioned for success. Key Responsibilities:
Instilling quality in all you do.
Creating and maintaining productivity metrics for receiving inspection.
Prioritizing work and sustaining a positive culture to meet commitments.
Investigating non-conformances and holds.
Performing DHR review and approval.
Communicating expectations and conducting GEMBA walks.
Conducting and managing training for inspectors.
Qualifications
Education:
A minimum of a High School diploma, G.E.D. or equivalent required.
Associate's degree in engineering or a related technical discipline is preferred.
Experience and Skills:
Required:
A minimum of two (2) years of related experience in the Medical Device/Pharmaceutical Industry in a quality control/operations/production environment.
A minimum of two (2) years of experience as a Quality Supervisor leading or supervising a team of individual contributors supporting Quality.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
Preferred:
Experience in Power BI and SAP.
Inspection equipment and programming experience.
Certifications in quality inspection, gage management, and technician.
Other:
Ability to proficiently communicate both verbal and written in English.
This position will be located in Memphis, TN and may require up to 10% domestic or international travel.
