Job Description:
The Precision Medicine Manager will be responsible for developing and leading J&J's Regional precision medicine strategy in collaboration with key cross-functional stakeholders of the organization.
The Precision Medicine Manager will shape and optimize the precision medicine environment, and thus should have extensive pharma, precision medicine and diagnostics experience. The role requires strong leadership with excellent communication and collaboration skills, in addition to a deep scientific understanding of the precision medicine environment in diagnostic tests, and the challenges on the testing pathway, enabling tailored testing solutions for our precision medicine portfolio and pipeline.
Design and implement a Regional Commercial PM strategy for biomarker-driven assets, collaborating with various teams across therapeutic areas.
This role resides within Patient Solutions with tight connectivity with Strategy, Operations & BD Director, and interactions cross-functional with Strategic Marketing and Access Team, Medical Affairs, External Affairs, Global Precision Medicine Team, and other internal and external.stakeholders.
We are looking for a Regional Precision Medicine in Bogota, Sao Paulo or Mexico City.
Essential Duties:
Precision Medicine Strategy: Drive the creation and effective, consistent completion of high-quality, cross-functional, strategic precision medicine plans for Johnson & Johnson's assets in LATAM, that includes diagnostics solutions and complementary tests in the market to enable optimized treatment throughout the patient journey.
To proactively support internal company cross-functional stakeholders working with precision medicine assets to gain alignment on critical success factors, including;
The sharing of insights supporting regulatory and payer submissions
Translation of policy and industry trends impacting evidence needs
Identify quality assurance measures required for building confidence amongst users of companion diagnostics
Addressing technical training needs for internal and external partners
Evaluation of medical and scientific accuracy of core dossiers (i.e. pricing and reimbursement dossiers, HEOR dossiers, medical information packs, clinical expert reviews etc.).
Lead the establishment and maintenance of a world-class Precision Medicine program management capability.
Patient and test/tissue Journeys: Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of key products and brand books / relevant therapeutic areas through attendance/participation at key internal meetings/training sessions, relevant congresses, and seminars and by regular self-study of the national/international literature.
Define test journey and establish the standards for external testing providers and pathology laboratory partners involved in the journey in LATAM.
Support clusters in identifying and engaging key external testing providers, pathologists, physicians and other healthcare providers involved in the diagnosis and management of patients requiring Johnson & Johnson's precision medicines, when needed.
Precision Medicine Field Force Footprint: Support the design and implementation of Regional Commercial PM strategy for biomarker-driven assets in collaboration with the Strategic Marketing & Access Teams and clusters across core TA's, in collaboration with Strategy, Operations & BD Director.
Precision Medicine Capability: Make precision medicine a well-known and easily understandable element across all areas with a robust internal training program in collaboration with Learning and Development CoE.
Guidance and governance: on standards Precision Medicine processes, concepts and policies.
Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations, guidelines, codes of conduct, Johnson & Johnson's policies and procedures and accepted standards of best practice
